The Old Wat: Banteay Srei

Banteay Srei is the oldest of all of the Wats built in the late 900's. It was a 45 minute tuk tuk ride out into the country. I took a couple pictures of houses and such that we saw. The "pond" is filled with rice.

There is a really great picture of mom. I tried to get her to take a really good picture of me. Unfortunately, she kept taking movies. Apparently, my iPhone was switching to movie mode even though she wasn't touching anything. As I'm posting to the blog, I just told her about the lack of good picture of me. I can tell she is feeling better because she said, "Why don't you just include the movie?"

I politely reminded her movie sound track would go like this:
Erin: Have you taken the picture yet?
Fran: It's not working.
Erin: Yes it is. I just took your picture.
Fran: I don't know. It's not working.
Erin: Are you pressing the camera symbol?
Fran: I am, but it isn't doing anything.
Erin: Let me see. Oh. You have it on movie mode. Don't do that.
Fran: I didn't do anything.
Erin: Yes you did. You hit this button.
Fran: Okay. I'll take your picture again...
Erin: Have you taken the picture yet?
Fran: It's not working.
Erin: Let me see. You took another movie.
Fran: Okay. I'll try again.
Erin: Nope. I think I'm good.

[Fran's response to this post: I don't remember it exactly like that. But maybe it was something like that. I would also like to know why Erin didn't just get a damn camera.]
